Tattooing a symbol or picture on your body, is no longer criticized as it was in the past, and a new approach to tattooing has been introduced since the turn of the present century. Even more parents are accepting their teenagers wearing a tattoo, and more than those children are wearing them, in the form of temporary transfers that usually disappear after washing the skin. 

People who get a tattoo are as diverse as the designs applied to their skin temporarily, using special pigmentation, or permanently with methods including laser and even chemicals, so this practice must not be confused with skin piercing, another ancient form of aesthetics manifestation.
